International Collaborative Research Strategy for Alzheimer's Disease (ICRSAD)

The International Collaborative Research Strategy for Alzheimer's Disease (ICRSAD) is CIHR's response to the growing Canadian and international health care crisis of Alzheimer's. By joining other countries that have launched national strategies, Canada adds our voice to the consensus that large-scale international collaboration is the most effective way to respond to this global problem. CIHR, through ICRSAD, is ideally placed to broker such an international research agenda. ICRSAD will stimulate and lead innovative international research approaches, support Canadian involvement and leadership in international consortia, and enable Canadian researchers to lead new international research programs and platforms.

ICRSAD is seeking input from stakeholders on a draft Alzheimer's Research Strategy to take a leadership role in improving treatment and increasing prevention of Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias internationally.

Your contribution is essential to the success of this initiative, therefore we kindly ask you to take the time to review the proposed strategy and participate in our survey. Please note that the deadline to complete the survey is August 31, 2010.

Thank you,
